Using a complex (in my opinion) string pattern (#027 by Lily Moon, Adele Bruno of Tickled to Tangle asked us to stretch our imaginations and use the following tangles:
- Puchong by CZT Michelle Lim
- (O) by Damy (Mei Hua Teng)
- Zonked by Barbara Finwall
- Printemps by Zentangle co-founder Maria Thomas
The string has a yin yang circle in the center and four spokes coming off this circle. All tangles except Printemps were new to me, and I really liked the intricacies of each one.
Printemps, an old standby and original tangle, is quite lovely as a filler or as an overall monotangle (you have to see Adele’s creation on a Zendala! — it’s stunning). For tips on tangling Printemps, take a look at Adele’s Tips for Tangling.
I can’t believe this tangle challenge series is up to #127. I think I started contributing around #35. How about you? When did you join Adele’s weekly Zentangle challenge?
