Party time! I’ve struggled to find perfect birthday cards to send to family and friends, so I got out my pens, Sharpies, colored pencils—and started to tangle.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I love presents, so what better design to start with than a present using the Mak-rah-mee tangle pattern for the fancy ribbon bow and Balconies as the ribbon around the gift box. For a festive flair, I added balloons with tangle patterns Floating Disks, Dust Devils, and Honeycomb.
The party hat uses Culdesac, Eyeballs, Braid, Washers, and Cuddles.
Since I’ve fairly new at adding color to projects, I started with Sharpies, but they bled through to the other side of the card stock. I switched to colored pencils and had better luck. How do you add color to your tangling projects? Let me know in comments!
