This afternoon while old friends were visiting, I taught them the art of Zentangle. We practiced about 10 different tangle patterns, and they created some amazing tiles. (I hope they’re hooked!) Then, as we were hanging around chatting, catching up, and reminiscing, I tangled this week’s It’s a String Thing Challenge #61.
This week, Adele Bruno challenged us to use string pattern 061 by Margaret Bremner and the following tangle patterns:
- Moonpie by CZT Joan Delony
- Aquafleur by Maria Thomas
- River by CZT Suzanne McNeill
- Gutz by Patricia Cosiano
I used the crazy-eights in the string pattern for large Moonpies and enhanced the border with Aquafleur and Gutz. River flowed in the center.
